im on the pill, and when me and my partner have sex, he uses a condom. Is this very effective? and by the way i use the Yaz birth control. I dont know if that makes it any better? lol |
Condom Man says:
Hi Roxana, kudos to you and your boyfriend for being aware of safe sex and practicing it. I'll be honest in saying I don't know a lot about birth control pills and which is better over the other. However, I feel very comfortable saying that you are doing a good job of protecting yourselves by using two separate methods of contraception, both of which don't interfere with the other. Just make sure to read up on correct usage to avoid human error (forgetting to take the pill, not putting on the condom correctly, etc.) Thanks for the question! |

What type of condom do you reccommend for the smaller penis or the less endowed? |
Condom Man says:
Hi Jay. While reading your question, I came to the realization that, in the many years since this site has been founded, your question is one of the most common questions we receive. You've inspired me to add a new category to our list of condom styles on the left hand side of our page. I'm going to add a category for Snugger Fit / Smaller Sized condoms and I will stock that category with condoms for those who need a tighter fit. Thanks for the question! |

Which delay climax condoms are better Trojan Extended Pleasure or Durex Performax? Also is it true with the Trojan condoms the desensitizing lubricant is on the outside of the condom as well as the inside? |
Condom Man says:
Hi Elaine, thanks for the question! Both condoms are lubricated with the desensitizing lube on the inside, and standard lubrication on the outside. So that's one thing you don't have to worry about. We carry and recommend both the Trojan and Durex brand. The only real difference is in price; because Durex sells in bulk cases, as opposed to retail packaging, we are able to sell them for less. Thanks and Happy Holidays! |

Why don't you offer more condoms with spermicide? |
Condom Man says:
Hi Mike,
This is a very good question. A lot of people immediately go for spermicidal condoms because they think that they protect better. However, in recent years most condom companies have started moving away from using Nonoxynol-9 spermicide. This is because of recent studies which suggest that it may not be as effective as one thought, and could also possibly raise the risk of STI transmission. Durex and Kimono no longer produce any condom lines with spermicidal lubrication. |
