One is a gel condom (also known as the Invisible Condom) that begins to stiffen once sex has begun. It then liquefies after a few hours. Hi, thanks for your question. To quickly answer your question, YES, there is a segment of the population who are allergic to latex and latex condoms. The symptoms can vary from a slight itching feeling on your skin, to developing rashes and hives.

Fear not, however, as Condom Man has the answer for you : most major condom brands manufacture a Non-Latex condom style. These condoms are the best option for people allergic to latex. Testing is still being done to determine if they are as effective as latex condoms in preventing STIs, however non-latex condoms have been determined to be just as effective as latex condoms in every other aspect of protection.
