In this day and age, a growing number of men are using condoms when it comes to sexual encounters.  This trend is occurring because a growing number of men personally are becoming more aware of the value of condoms in not only preventing pregnancy with a female partner but they are also attune to the fact that condoms can be very valuable when it comes to preventing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases between partners.

A problem does remain in regard to the manner in which men actually use condoms the reality is that many men simply do not really understand the proper manner in which condoms are to be utilized.  By this it is meant that many men so not know how to properly put on and then take off a condom.  Through this article, you are provided with the steps on how to put on a condom.  By following these steps on how to put on a condom, you will be in the best position to ensure that you make the best use of condoms each time you are involved with a sexual encounter.

- Always use a condom when you are involved in a sexual encounter.  You need to remember that semen can pass to your partner even before you fully ejaculate.

- When opening the condom wrapper take care not to poke a hole in the condom.  Obviously, a hole or a tear in a condom defeats its purpose.

- You need to put the condom onto your penis when it becomes erect and before you engage in any sexual contact with your partner.  Again, you need to understand that fluids can leave the penis even prior to a full or complete ejaculation.

- Prior to actually putting on the condom, hold the tip of the condom itself and squeeze our air at the end of the condom to leave room for semen.  Take care when you put on the condom so that you do not tear it.

- If you happen to be uncircumcised, pull the loose skin away from the head of your penis prior to putting on the condom.

- Holding onto the tip of the condom, unroll it down the length of your penis.  Once again, you need to be careful not to tear or puncture the condom in this process.

- After you have ejaculated, hold onto the condom at the base of your penis.

- While holding onto the condom, withdraw from your sexual partner while your penis is still erect.  Slowly withdraw so as not to spill semen from the condom.

- Remove the condom slowly.

- Make sure you wash your hands after you handled a used condom and before you have any further contact with your partner.

By following these tips and pointers, by following these steps on how to put on a condom, you will be in the best possible position to ensure that you make the best use of a condom.  You will be making certain that you are protecting yourself and your partner from disease and pregnancy.  You will be working to ensure that your condom is an effective means of defense against disease and pregnancy.
